3-D technology dictionary for ELLs
This website is good for ELL's as well as non ELL's. It has alphabet recognition where you click on the letter it shows both upper case and lower case. Gives the name of the letter, the sound it makes, shows pictures and word that begin with that letter. There is also a quick interactive game at the end of each letter and it lets you know if you are doing it correctly. The beginning reading areas have simple stories or thematic stories. If you are not sure of a word you can click on the work it will sound it our for you and also say the entire word correctly. You could click on every word if needed. Some stories have a simple writing response at the end. Each story has a smiley face or sad face to click on to let them know if you liked the story or activity. The just added some lesson plans for ELL and struggling students. It has an interactive math component too. I find it very helpful with all my students.
